Education for Democracy

APCL has been working for the promotion of democratic values such as equity, justice, brotherhood and communal harmony. In fact, it promotes democratic way of life in family and society and as such works for promotion of various rights enshrined in constitution and through other statutes such as right to information, right to health and nutrition, right to food, right to shelter, protection of dignity of women and also against domestic violence and similar other statutes. To promote democratic ways of life it works for establishment of social science laboratories in schools, establishment of Shabari Ashrams in hamlets of excluded community and advocates for establishment of family schools. It works for creating awareness for women empowerment.
