Our students have once again brought laurels to the School of Creative Learning with their exceptional oratory skills! On April 15, 2026, our talented speakers participated in a prestigious speech competition organized at the historic Mahila Charkha Samiti in Kadam Kuan, Patna.
The event, Prabha Smriti Samaroh, was held in solemn remembrance and gratitude on the Punyatithi (death anniversary) of the legendary freedom fighter and social reformer, Prabhavati Devi.

Highlights from the Event
The event was a cultural immersion.
- Cultural Harmony: Our students witnessed a vibrant Shilp Pradarshani (Craft Exhibition) featuring traditional items like Badi-Tilouri, Achar-Papad, and handmade arts, a true reflection of the self-reliance Prabhavati Devi championed.
- Words of Wisdom: The keynote address was delivered by Jyoti Bahan from the Vinoba Bhave Ashram, Paunar, who enlightened the gathering on the evolution of women’s strength through the ages. Jamu Bahan from Surat and Prachi Bahan from Vinoba Bhave Ashram Dhulia also addressed the gathering.
- Prof. Tara Sinha (President, Mahila Charkha Samiti): As the presiding officer of the ceremony, Prof. Sinha opened the session with a powerful address. She spoke eloquently about the journey of women from the Vedic period to the modern era, providing our students with a profound historical context for their speeches.
- Dr. Mridula Prakash (Secretary, Mahila Charkha Samiti & Principal, School of Creative Learning): Dr. Prakash, who managed the event’s proceedings, continues to be the driving force in connecting our students to these prestigious platforms.
Visit by Chief Minister on 16th April 2026
The Samiti was honored by the presence of the Chief Minister of Bihar Samrat Choudhary, who came to the Samiti on 16th April 2026 and performed a Malyaarpan (garlanding) at the statues of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan and Prabhavati Devi. He lauded the Samiti’s role in promoting “Nari Shakti.”

The Visionary Bridge: Dr. Mridula Prakash
At the heart of this success is Dr. Mridula Prakash, whose dual role as the Principal of the School of Creative Learning and the Secretary (Mantri) of Mahila Charkha Samiti has created a unique corridor for our students to engage with social leadership.
As reported in recent press coverage by Aaj and Navbihar Times, Dr. Prakash played a pivotal role in organizing these commemorative events, ensuring that the spirit of “Creative Learning” and the Gandhian values of the Samiti go hand-in-hand.
A huge congratulations to the winners and a special thank you to the teachers and mentors who guided them. This victory is a testament to the “Creative Learning” spirit, where we encourage every student to find their voice and lead with confidence.
Keep shining, young leaders! The world is listening.
